Location
If coming on CA-41 North, take the GPS route through Oakhurst (CA-41>Road 426). GPS will show a "shorter" route on Road 200, but the route through Oakhurst is much easier and only takes a few minutes longer.
If coming from Northern CA, we suggest taking CA-99 down to Madera and cutting across CA-145 to CA-41 North. GPS will tell you to go through Mariposa, but that only saves 10 minutes, and it's a very long, windy road. Once on CA-41 North, take the GPS route through Oakhurst (CA-41>Road 426). GPS will show a "shorter" route on Road 200, but the route through Oakhurst is much easier and only takes a few minutes longer.
