Barndo Family Compound Overview
Two peaceful mountain barndos, one unforgettable Yosemite-area getaway. The Barndo Family Compound includes both our Big Barndo and Mini Barndo, giving families and groups room to spread out, gather together, and enjoy the beauty of the mountain valley.
Located just 20 miles from Yosemite’s South Entrance, 1.5 miles from Bass Lake, and 5 miles from Oakhurst shops and restaurants, the Compound is a convenient home base for hiking, lake days, local exploring, or simply relaxing by the fire after a full day of adventure.
Together, the two homes sleep up to 12 guests and offer the flexibility of two separate living spaces, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, cozy gathering areas, smart TVs, board games, puzzles, books, and peaceful outdoor spaces with breathtaking mountain views and sunsets.
Designed with accessibility in mind, both homes feature thoughtful details such as no-step access, wide clearances, roll-in showers, patient lifts, and more.
